Sandeep Reddy Vanga'sAnimal became one of the highest-grossing films of 2023. Producers announced a sequel titled Animal Park.

Now producer Bhushan Kumar has confirmed that the sequel is on schedule.

According to him, after director Sandeep Reddy Vanga completes his next project with Prabhas, work on Animal Park will begin within six months.

The sequel was hinted at in the post-credits scene of Animal, which featured the title Animal Park.

Bhushan Kumar revealed that Vanga is currently focused only on Spirit with Prabhas. The filming for Spirit is expected to start by the end of December 2024. Once that film is completed, the team will shift their focus to Animal Park.

Star Hero Solely Depending On Sequels

Sandeep Vanga disclosed that Animal Park will be even darker and meaner than Animal. Animal Park's release can be expected in 2028.

Ranbir Kapoor also expressed his excitement about the sequel where he mentioned that Vanga shared some scenes from Animal Park with him, which left him shell-shocked and excited.
