Incidentally, Pushpa 2 was projected to face some sort of a competition from Varun Dhawan's Baby John which is releasing today, December 25.

But going by the latest box, Office reports, the Varun Dhawan film is of not even remotely close to the box office storm of Pushpa 2. There are reports that the 21st day box office collections of Pushpa 2 are going to be bigger than that of the opening day collections of Baby John.

Along with Varun, Baby had another significant name - Atlee associated with it. Earlier, Atlee delivered a 1000 crore film for Bollywood with Jawan. But this goodwill has also quickly evaporated as he didn't add any value to the film.

The early reviews have also been below par for Baby John, meaning a free run is guaranteed for Pushpa 2 for the coming weeks.

The film has collected nearly Rs 640 crore nett till now and it could go further up higher and breach the Rs 700 crore mark or even touch the Rs 750 crore mark in the full run. As it turns out, Varun Dhawan and Atlee are no match to Pushpa 2 madness in the Hindi belt.
