Won't Allow Kalvakuntla Family To Power: Revanth

Telangana CM Revanth Reddy launched a sharp attack on former chief minister KCR, repeating his criticism at every public meeting. Revanth Reddy accused KCR of corruption and said those actions directly led to his political decline in Telangana.

Revanth Reddy continued to target KCR after the former chief minister criticised the Congress government. KCR also announced that his party BRS would begin a statewide agitation over water-related issues, keeping political tensions high across Telangana.

In the recently concluded Panchayat elections, BRS secured around half the seats won by the Congress. This outcome reportedly caused dissatisfaction for Revanth Reddy, who was aiming for a much stronger performance and a near total sweep.

Revanth Reddy responded by asserting that Telangana Congress would win 80 percent of the seats in the 2029 Assembly elections. He stated firmly that the Kalvakuntla family would not return to power as long as he remained active in politics.

Taking his criticism further, Revanth Reddy alleged that KCR expelled his own daughter and son-in-law due to fears over property division. These remarks added a personal edge to the ongoing political confrontation.

KCR, however, maintained that he would return to power in 2029. Political analysts believe Revanth Reddy is already preparing for the next elections, starting with an aggressive push to dominate the upcoming MPTC and ZPTC polls.
